Whenever you travel, you have an opportunity to see new things, including animals that you wouldn't normally see where you live. On this trip, I thought I would be fun to list some of the critter I see, or would expect to see, and maybe some photos. In the photo above, are a few of the "critters" I saw as my trip began. A beautiful rainbow trout while I was hiking around Jenny Lake in the Grand Tetons National Park and a little chipmunk looking for food (there were people all around and this critter was out or dinner). I also saw a huge colony or coterie of prairie dogs.
The List
- Buffalo - 1 (just 1 freakin buffalo while driving through Wyoming and hiking in the Tetons?)
- Squirrels, chipmunks, and so on - Tons
- Elk - 0
