Golfing and "the bear"

This morning we had a 9:15 tee time at the Incline Village Mountain Course. This is the course that goes right behind the house. The house looks out at


the #5 tee. As we drove the short distance to the clubhouse, we came across a black bear. Of course my camera was in the trunk so we don't have any photos but it was really cool. She/he was coming off the #5 green (just down from the house) and then checked out the restrooms and wandered down #6 fairway. We didn't run into it again...thankfully.

This course was BEAUTIFUL! It's a narrow mountain ourselves with really tough greens. We had a great time. We didn't play the best golf, but we had a lot of fun.
